Our company was founded with a passion for tequila and a dedication to traditional craftsmanship. We believe that the best tequila starts with the best ingredients, which is why we only use agave piñas grown in the rich volcanic soil of San Juanito de Escobedo, where the agave thrives and develops its distinctive flavor
Tequila añejo is aged in American White Oak / French White Oak for a minimum of 12 months and up to 35 months. The longer aging process gives the tequila a darker, amber color and a complex flavor profile with notes of oak, spice, and dried fruit. Añejo tequila is typically enjoyed neat or on the rocks to savor its full flavor.
Tequila extra añejo is aged in American White Oak / French White Oak barrels for a minimum of 36 months, creating a deep amber color and an intense, complex flavor profile. The aging process infuses the tequila with notes of chocolate, coffee, vanilla, honey, tobacco, and a smooth, smoky, wood like velvety finish.
Tequila Blanco is our purest form of tequila, made from 100% blue agave and bottled immediately after distillation. The agave is cooked, crushed, and then fermented to create the agave juice, which is then distilled two or three times to produce a clear, crisp tequila with a fresh agave flavor.
Tequila reposado is aged in American White Oak / French White Oak for a minimum of two months and up to 11 months. The aging process adds a rich golden color and a smooth, mellow flavor to the tequila. The oak barrels also impart notes of vanilla and caramel to the tequila, making it a popular choice for sipping or mixing in cocktails.
Bats are important in the tequila industry because they play a crucial role in the pollination of agave plants. Agave plants require cross-pollination to reproduce, and bats are one of the primary pollinators of agave. They feed on the nectar of the agave flowers, and in the process, they transfer pollen from one plant to another, allowing for fertilization and the growth of new agave plants. Without bats, the agave plants would not be able to reproduce, and the tequila industry would be severely impacted. In recognition of the important role that bats play in the tequila industry, we have chosen to incorporate a bat into to branding and packaging.
